Day 14: Korean Class + SBS Entertainment Awards!

It is already the 3rd week of the program! Time flies so fast! People usually say that if you are enjoying your life or enjoying doing something, you will find that time flies super fast! Yup! I guess it's true! 2 weeks in Korea and I am loving and enjoying every bit!

Lunch at Dragon Palace again. Jjajangmyeon again!

Lesson was awesome today! We learnt about numbers today! hehe.. :)

Spicy Fish Soup! ^.^

We went to Wangsimni underground mall! This waterfall can be found inside the mall. The mall looks really grand. And the items sold inside there sure are not cheap! I didn't went in to the shop at Times Square that is selling the jacket Running Man members wore in the show but I went in at Wangsimni underground mall and it actually cost 89000 won! That is like almost S$100!! And the jacket for kids are not cheap too! 65000 won! Almost fainted at the price! So in the end, Wen Lin and I just walked around E-mart and bought juice that cost 990 won for a pack of 4 (got pineapple, grape and apple. bought all 3 flavors) and tidbits to munch while watching SBS Entertainment Awards later. After shopping and waited for the rest to meet up, went back to Hoegi and I started camping at the student lounge for the SBS Entertainment Awards to start! hehe!

  The host of the award show! ^.^ Interesting combination especially when I know Krystal didn't host any shows before. I love Krystal though.

 Soo Young! So happy for her!! Although I didn't watch the show she hosted but I know she did great!

I really prayed hard that they would win Best Couple award. But oh well.. Hope next year you 2 can get it Kang Gary & Song Jihyo! <3

 Friendship Award - Lee Kwang Soo, Roo Dam

 He is super funny and cute though! And yes. My nickname to most people now is giraffe too. And since I don't want to keep forcing them and telling them not to call me giraffe. I am gonna just let it be.

She is super pretty can! Natural beauty! And she said she don't like to put make-up on. So most of the time she will just let her skin rest and not put anything at all! No wonder the no make-up look on Running Man.

 Monday Couple! <3 So cute both of them. Gary actually went up on stage wanting to give the bouquet of flowers to her then realized that her hands are full and helped her to carry all instead! Such a gentleman. How to not love him! Oh ya! and when Jong Kook was about to get down the stage after giving Jihyo the flowers, he turned back and told Gary to kiss Jihyo. haha! Of course it didn't happen. 

   

I think he tear a little when Jihyo was giving her speech. And when Jihyo talked about him. aww.. I really hope both of them are real!

The last award was Daesung and I really hoped it would be Jae Suk but oh well. He won 2 years in a row already though. He did awesome this year. Hope he can win again next year!

After watching, went back to dorm immediately because it was too cold! haha! The rest are drinking. Shall watch Running Man. Cheerios!

Day 13: Noryangjin Fish Market!

Today, we went to Noryangjin Fish Market! It was quite a far journey but looking at all the fresh seafood. YUM! Glad that I was there although the smell of all the seafood were super strong and fishy.

Walking past all of the different stalls selling all kinds of seafood. Got super hungry and the cat in me got super happy. Yup! I love seafood especially fish. Even when eating fish in Singapore, I would suck the bone until it is super clean. haha.

The 2nd half of lunch! Spicy fish soup! Heard that is the other half of the fish from the fresh sashimi. I am not a person who eat spicy food though. But after being in Korea for 2 weeks and counting. I think I can slowly take spicy food now!

After lunch, headed to Times Square again. And got my Oreo Milk Smoothie again. I am totally in love with that already. haha. Since I was here before, Wen Lin and I just roughly walked around. The price is really too expensive for us. Therefore, we went to shop at the underground shopping center instead. The place where I got my bag for 10,000 won! haha. After that headed back to dorm.

When I was getting ready to head out for dinner, Laetitia and Beryl invited me to watch SBS Gayo Daejeon with them in the student lounge. So I quickly got ready, went to eat and rush back so that I could watch it in time. But today there is MBC Entertainment Awards as well! So I was stuck in between to whether to watch with them at student lounge or not watch at all. Went to eat dinner somewhere near school and the television there was playing MBC Entertainment Awards! haha. Just nice can watch while eating!

Ate Pork Rib Soup!

After eating, went to the student lounge to look for Beryl and Laetitia. So the whole show got 2 parts and Beryl had the whole showcase list of performers and what they will be performing! And all the major popular and big acts are all in the 2nd half! But I missed quite a number of performance from some of my favorite groups such as Girls' Day and A-pink while I was eating. :( Oh well. But at least I made it for After School, Hyorin and most importantly SNSD!! haha! The student lounge is so cold! It is like I am wearing my own normal wear in Singapore and standing outside in the cold in Korea! Why there isn't any heater inside?

Tomorrow is SBS Entertainment Awards 2013! I will definitely camp inside the student lounge!! =P Although I know it would be super cold. But for Running Man and hoping the see them win some awards. All worth it!

Day 12: Traditional Tea House near school with Dowoomi Juyeon!

Met with my super cute Dowoomi Juyeon today at 2pm! Managed to talk to her more today and got to know her more. She told me that on the exact same day as my last day of the Korean Language Immersion Program (9 Jan), her boyfriend is going to Texas for about 2 months for an exchange program and she is sad. And also asked me when I would leave Korea which is on 13 Jan because my mum and sister are coming over and had to only extend till then as that is the day they are going back. So Juyeon said that she will be sad on the day I leave too. T.T I will miss her too on that day!

Anyway the Traditional Tea House is near Kyung Hee University and from what I know from Juyeon. The Tea House is also a very famous hangout place for Kyung Hee University students because it is cheap, good and the place is very nice and relaxing. Unlike expensive cafe like Starbucks and Tom N' Toms Coffee the Tea House is indeed very affordable! Only 1500 won per person!

She got me Blending Tea. She love that tea too and recommended that to me because it is good for my health especially with the extremely cold winter season now. :)  She got herself Ginger Tea. The white round things on the side are snacks. So 1 snack and 2 tea for 1500 won! Cheap indeed!

 Juyeon and me! She had to leave early at 3pm because of her part-time job at her hometown. Shall find a day to go to her cafe she is working at to visit her! :)

So after meeting Juyeon, went back to the dorm to get something and went to Angkuk to meet the rest! Look at the top view of Insa-dong! Truly amazing!!

Walked around Insa-dong then headed back to the dorm to rest and got ready for dinner.

Bought this strawberry milk yesterday and only drank it today. haha. Super nice! ^.^

 Ate Seafood Rossetti for dinner at the other exit of Hoegi Station (Exit 2)

The super big pork cutlet that Samantha, Wen Lin and Nicole ordered! Wen Lin and Nicole shared one and Samantha had to finish one herself! Poor Samantha! I could only help her with about 1/4 of it.

After dinner, we went to the bar opened by a Kyung Hee University student! Played darts after a super long time and drank vodka mixed with Cranberry. Super awesome! The rest were drinking beer but I don't drink beer at all so this is the only decision for me. Darts were pretty cool! If we played count-up for darts and scored above 350 points we get a free shot! I won't be that lucky since I just played once during Christmas. haha.

Not too sure about the plans for tomorrow yet. Waiting for the rest!

Day 11: 2nd Corporate Visit - Louis Quatorze, Seoul Global Centre & Nanta show

Was super late today. Felt so bad as everyone had to wait for me. :( So sorry to everyone. Due to the cold weather and me who didn't blow my hair dry after washing. My whole hair froze almost immediately the moment I went outdoors! Guess you can imagine how cold it was at Korea. XD 2nd Corporate Visit! First, we went to Louis Quatorze!

Feeling of being a VIP again when the screen before the show started showed "Welcome SIM Global Education Students to Nanta Myeong Dong". Didn't know about it until my teacher told us. So didn't take any picture of it.

Dinner! Shrimp Curry Rice with Cheese and Fish Cutlet! Super awesome!

Tomorrow will be the 2nd weekend since I am here! and I am meeting my Dowoomi for traditional tea! ^.^
